Starting the arduous process of manual cranking the dasher. Our grandpa used to hook up a small motor to the handle.

whoops, forgot to remove the dasher. also, be sure not to cork the bucket as salt water will seep into the top layer of the container...

Successfully extracted and off for the deep freeze. It's recommended to wrap the top of the container to keep the ice cream from absorbing the various odors of your freezer...
