Akumaki, a desert usually eaten for Children's Day here in Japan (kodomo no hi). Most of Japan will prepare Chimaki, which is a rice ball similar to mochi with a filling inside. Here in Kagoshima people make Akumaki, which is sweet rice placed inside a sleeve of bamboo, soaked overnight and boiled for a long duration the next day.
