141/366: Last Day with my RA :(

I'll never let go...
The fated time for me to part ways with my beloved Subaru STi V2 RA has finally come and gone. I will still be in Japan another three months, so what’s the rush to sell it you might ask? Well, quite simply, I know the car will need some proper maintenance in by summer’s end. The kind that costs a lot of money over here. As I’m preparing to move home, I realize it is impossible for me to both save money for my return and pay for an “overhaul” here. So, with that in mind I thought it best to sell my car back to my friend Taka, who previously owned this car and runs the dealership, so that he can see it gets the attention it deserves. He was kind enough to let me use one of his rental cars for the remainder of my stay, so it seems to be working out well.
Of course, the moment I handed over the keys I felt like I was loosing a friend of three years. The attachments we get to material things… especially vehicles! So to see her off, I’m going to post/re-post some of my favorite photos of what might be simply the best stock vehicle I will ever drive.
