Some of the students found / assembled / “fancified” this beast of a chariot. They told me the name was “Shooting Star”. I decided to hold off on explaining bike jousting to them… it would probably catch on.
The Shisa: part lion, part dog, Okinawan mythological guardian figures usually found in pairs at the entrance of a house. In their pairs, the one with an open mouth scares off bad spirits while the other with an open mouth keeps in the good.
